Meet the Team- Colette Cacciatore

For our next post in our “Meet the Team” series, we sat down with Colette Cacciatore to learn more about her role and why she loves what she does!

What is your role? 

I am the Marketing and Operations Manager for Roessel Joy. I run the day-to-day marketing (including social, email and other promotional efforts) and help with back-office tasks such as internal recruitment, employee relations and sales enablement.

What is the most rewarding part of your job? 

I love being able to learn about all sides of running a business- Jonas and Chris have really taken me under their wings to help me learn the ropes. More specifically, on the marketing side, I have the opportunity to implement strategies to boost ROI. It’s rewarding to see those strategies pay off over time.

Why do you like working at Roessel Joy? 

I love working at Roessel Joy because everyone is motivated to reach the same goal, and willing to help each other to achieve it. Because it is a young company, Chris and Jonas really invest their time into each employee and want to see you succeed.

What values drive and motivate you? 

I am motivated by big picture career goals - and learning how to turn them into more attainable day-to-day tasks. I know that the work and learning I do now will benefit me later in life, so it makes me excited to see what I am implementing now hopefully pay off in the future.

What is your favorite piece of career advice? 

Don’t be afraid to have a “no task is too small” mentality. You make yourself valuable by doing the work that other people may not want to do. I actually started off as an intern with the company and by working hard and going the extra mile during my internship, I was able to secure a full-time role.  

What is one thing we should know about you that we can’t find on LinkedIn? 

I rode horses competitively growing up, which led me to a scholarship in college! Although I am taking a break now to focus on my job and other aspects of my life, there will always be a special place in my heart for the sport and I hope to get back to it in the future!
