Our Story

Jonas Roessel and Chris Joy took an idea and made it reality by launching Roessel Joy, a recruiting company with a vision for reimagining the staffing industry.

2018

2019

In the following year, the Roessel Joy team quickly grew to ten employees and expanded offices.

2020

In it’s third year, Roessel Joy saw the creation and launch of two new business lines - Atlas and SPP.

2021

Next in 2021, industry knowledge in finance and accounting led Roessel Joy to launch it’s accounting consultant business, Solaris.

2022

In 2022, Roessel Joy split divisions, quadrupling employee headcount and moving into bigger offices.

Currently, Roessel Joy is continuing and fast-tracking momentum with big plans for the next 5 years. . .

Chris Joy

  • As one of the co-founders of Roessel Joy, Chris is dedicated to providing exceptional staffing solutions. With ten years of experience in the finance and accounting space in New England, Chris has propelled Roessel Joy to success in the recruiting industry. His responsibilities include managing the temporary contract staffing practice of the company through motivating and mentoring the team’s collaborative efforts.

  • Jonas, co-founder of Roessel Joy, is dedicated to finding the right fit for clients and candidates. Jonas’s knowledge of the industry through his ten years of staffing industry experience and passion for connecting talented people with opportunities has been instrumental in Roessel Joy’s success. Through overseeing the direct hire practice of Roessel Joy, Jonas works closely with our direct to hire team to succeed each day.

  • As Chief Financial Officer, Simon oversees financial operations and helps with strategic data-based decision making. As a seasoned finance executive with a track record of scaling high-growth SaaS companies and maximizing gross and operating margins while executing financial strategy with high efficiency, Simon has been instrumental in Roessel Joy’s success.

Olivia Gonzales

  • Olivia graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2017 and started her career at Roessel Joy in the spring of 2023. After spending time in Talent Acquisition, she then worked as a fully licensed Realtor for over 4 years. With a background of 7 years within various sales roles, Olivia has used her expertise to build a successful Talent Acquisition & HR division at Roessel Joy.

Charlotte Barry

  • As Division Director of the temp recruiting team at Roessel Joy, Charlotte is responsible for sourcing candidates and managing a team of recruiters. Charlotte graduated from St. Lawrence University and has been at Roessel Joy for over two years where she’s climbed the latter from recruiting associate, to senior recruiter to division director.

William Robbins-Cole

  • Will joined Roessel Joy directly after graduating from Penn State University with experience in tech recruiting roles. He has since been with Roessel Joy for just over three years where he started off as a recruiter for both temp & perm before transitioning to the sales side. After working as a division director on the perm team, Will now runs Enterprise Solutions as Director of Business Development.

Peyton Schiff

  • Peyton joined Roessel Joy in 2021, transitioning from a career in the hospitality sector. In his role as the Senior Division Director of Temp Sales, Peyton uses the skillset he’s developed in various roles to place top positions, motivating the team of Business Development Associates through showcasing his approach of delivering unparalleled service to clients.

  • Hillary joined Roessel Joy with a diverse background in accounting and finance from working as an accounting manager in various sectors. With her expertise in finance, Hillary brings industry-agnostic insights to help drive the team’s ambitions to new heights. As the Corporate Controller at Roessel Joy, she is dedicated to setting the foundation for its success.

Carrie B. Marcantonio

  • Carrie is a seasoned legal staffing professional with a remarkable background in law. Carrie earned her BA at UMASS Amherst, her JD at Suffolk University Law School, then worked as a litigator. Carrie then shifted focus to recruiting in 2015, and now heads the Legal Recruiting Division at Roessel Joy with her expertise and network within the legal community.
